Barrier-1® Topical System

Barrier-1® Topical System is designed to penetrate deep into the concrete slab and stop moisture vapor emission. The system will stop hydrostatic pressure, capillary action and micro silica alkali attack.

HIGH PERFORMANCE MOISTURE MITIGATION

Barrier-1® Topical System is a one component, water based, non-toxic, premixed liquid that penetrates deep into the concrete slab to stop moisture vapor emission. The system will stop hydrostatic pressure, capillary action and micro silica alkali attack. The product has zero volatile organic compounds (VOC) and requires no special handling or equipment.

Barrier-1® Topical System is comprised of inorganic chemicals that are directly inherent to concrete. This topical system will have a natural chemical reaction with the elements pre-existing inside the concrete. The chemical reaction forms a permanent barrier (capillary break) which will become integral to the concrete and irremovable.

BONDTITE 1503, BOND ENHANCER & MOISTURE PROOF COATING

In partnership with Wolverine Coatings, we also offer BondTite 1503, Bond Enhancer & Moisture Proof Coating, which can be applied to concrete containing Barrier-1® Admixture System or as the final coat of Barrier-1® Topical System.

BondTite 1503 is a unique three-component, water-reducible coating which allows the application of coatings, membranes and underlayments a mere 12 hours after treatment and provides superior adhesion to the concrete slab.
