Barrier-1 Admixture and Topical System are environmentally safe, containing no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and requiring no special handling or equipment.

CONTRIBUTION TO GREEN BUILDING CERTIFICATION

In general terms, Barrier-1 products provide benefits in several areas to building teams who are focusing on "green" or sustainable building for both new construction and major renovation projects:

Helps reduce the cooling and heating loads in the building by enhancing the insulation qualities of the concrete slab (as a result of increased concrete density)

Extends the life of a concrete slab by increasing its strength and closing down the integral capillary system that prevents moisture intrusion

Emits no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and inhibits mold and mildew growth
